RotorGraphics 2002 Picz Gallery
Thanks Eric. The picture of Katie hugging the AirShark really made our day!
These are the pictures you all sent us back in 2002 decked out in RotorGraphics colorz. Got Picz? Send your 640x480 pixel digital photos to photos@rotorgraphics.com

Michael F. from Petaluma, CA emailed us this pic and a note: "You have most likely seen hundreds of these, but I am very happy the way this turned out. Now when you have something for my Raptor 60 that revs my engine I will be getting back to you." We're working on it Michael!

Todd G. wanted us to see his pair of Raptors decked out with RotorGraphics ProSeries sets.

Geoff S. Sent in this pic of is new V2! Electric Blue and Fl. Green.

Here's a buff Raptor 30-V1 in our national colors sent in by Ashley L., a former Marine pilot, along with this note:
"I received the Starz&Stripz kit and slid them on my Rappy 30. I have
to say, the graphics look great on this bird! Everyone's been very
impressed."

Eric B. out in Denver, Colorado sent us these two terrific pictures and included this note:
"I am one of your first customers, and a happy one at that! I bought your AirShark decal set and am very pleased with it! Everyone likes the shark theme (especially my daughter Katie). Attached are some pictures of my Raptor 50. Hopefully some of these can find their way onto the RotorGraphics website.
The decals have held up very well, and were easy to apply. The machine pictured has been through 2 crashes, and one very lucky save today..(see
http://www.runryder.com/showtopic.htm?s=&topicid=22135) in it's shark costume. The decals have stayed stuck in place, and are ready for more action! This helicopter has also seen some airtime on 2 of the local Denver television news channels during a recent model airshow festival."

Wayne C. from Lewiston, New York, sent us this pic of his Hirobo Sceadu in an Ultra-deluxe ProSeries set in Day-Glo Green and Day-Glo MAGENTA. Wayne writes "Just got the Graphics today! Man that was fast! I just ordered them like 2 days ago! Anyways, I love them and I am sending you a pic of the new graphics and rotor skins. Thanks again dude! Piece of cake to put on as well!!!!"
Borrowing a page from Mr. Sparks, Wayne also uses some of the spare fin vinyl to add even more color to the canopy! Yup, we see a trend developing.

Glen M. from GREAT BRITAIN sent us these terrific picz. Glen wrote "I finally got the graphics you sent they were held up in British customs, they are excellent". That's Glen himself servicing his Orange and Carbon Fiber decked Sceadu. Those fluorescent colors sure do help out in overcast skys, huh Glen?

J. "Crip" Sparks sent us lots of real nice picz of his Hirobo Sceadu decked out in an Ultra-deluxe ProSeries set in Day-Glo Green and Carbon Fiber. Note the clever use of the spare fin vinyl to add even more color to the canopy! This looks pretty good and we might just mod the kit soon to match some of this.

J. Torsrud was so eager to see his new RotorGraphics Starz-N-Stripes set in the air, he lit her up in his back yard! Thanks for the picz Jeff!

C. Smalling sent us a BUNCH of picz along with this note:"
Hi, I wanted to show off my bird. I love the way your graphics transformed my heli. I found the vinyl easy to apply and I have told my friends how great it looks. " C. says that you can get that Raptor60 look on your 30 by tossing the rap 30 windscreen and trimming down the 60 windscreen!

Here's a tasty pic from G. Krueger and he wanted us to know:"
Here's a few photos of my Raptor 50. I decked it out with the Pro Series using florescent orange on top and the carbon fiber vinyl on the bottom. I loved the application...definately not "rocket science". ;-) "

W. Parmeter sent this pic in along with this note: "Alan, thanks for the cool decals. Here is a picture of it finished. I am at Edwards AFB and I'm the only person that flies helicopters. Thanks again W. Parmeter.
"

Here's a pic of me and my first heli. ...Boy that helicopter sure makes me look fat!

When we visit fun flys and other public events, we often get asked... "How well does this vinyl stuff stick?" Well, here's a real good illustration of just how well the vinyl sticks to helicopter parts. This is a Raptor horizontal fin that I munched during a botched auto. Notice that the vinyl broke exactly along with the plastic? If the vinyl did not adheare tightly to the plastic, the tear line would be different for the plastic and the vinyl.

JAYLOW1 in the Los Angeles area sent us this pic of a freshly done up Pro Series job in Yellow and Burgundy. We know its fresh 'cuz we know we just sold those a few days ago at the West Coast Hirobo Cup! Nice job JAYLOW1!

This menacing AirShark job belongs to Darren H. of Charlotte, North Carolina. Darren asked if RotorGraphics could produce an AirShark in red rather than the standard grey for his tricked out red theme'd Rappy. We said NO PROBLEM! Thanks for the Picz Darren! Hey Darren, were sending you the replacement eyes too. They're much meaner!

This is Dianna M. of the Los Angeles area with her Raptor 30 dressed out in the new Pro Series Ultra-Deluxe set in Simulated Carbon Fiber and Day-Glo Orange. Yes, that's right, a charming, intelligent young woman who flies helis. She does all her own repair and maintenance work too. A rare and welcome sight today.

This is a photo of the graphic design that started this all, the original AirShark. This helicopter is an Raptor .30 upgraded with the Raptor .50 upgrade kit. A Thunder Tiger .50 Ringed motor powers it smoothly and reliably under Funkey FRP blades. This AirShark is still flying as of 9/12/2002 and is my favorite heli and I fly it pretty much every day. What kinda pilot am I? ...I suck. -- Alan McSwain
