ColeopTer:     Actually, the banishment had little to nothing to do with RotorGraphics not advertising on that forum.   As a forum member (I joined before RotorGraphics was started) I have always felt a responsibility to be HELPFUL.   Many of you know that I feel strongly about helping out the Newbies, and that I routinely scanned the board and helped lots of people with lots of different issues.   Occaisionaly, posters would ask questions about RotorGraphics and our products.   If no-one else answered the questions, I would, but in a minimal, non-promotional manner.   I did this because I felt that when people need information and take the time to ask for it, you should provide it if you can.   The operator of that forum apparently has an inability to distinguish the difference between advertising and just being helpful and informative.

Why have I not advertised on that forum? Being a businessman, I look to engage in business relationships with people that are rational, non-emotional, clear-headed and think their actions through clearly. Because of some early, negative and outright rude contact with the owner of that forum, I have been watching his behavior and decisions in hope that he would mature into a person that I could feel comfortable doing business with. Sadly, his better angels were never able to get their act together.

As for the referenced policies, they are vague and have changed too often to be useful and only served to indicate that their author has ongoing difficulties formulating and articulating them.

ANONYMOUS:     Correct, the last few weeks had nothing to do with my status as a potential advertiser.   It had everthing to do with EDITORIAL INTERFERENCE.   Deleting posts is CENSORSHIP.   CENSORSHIP is the first, best weapon of TYRANTS.   Business or political motivations are irrelivant!   Poeple hate censorship.   I have tried to explain this to you repeatedly and eloquently, emphasising that you cannot do this and succeed in your chosen business.  

If disagreeing with you is "subversive", you have a lot of "subversives" in your forum.  

ColeopTer:     Your comments are well taken but I would caution you that if you continue to speak out against censorship and banishment on that forum, you will be the next to be banished.

For the record, ACEDISTRIBUTION.NET has NO affiliation or business relationship with Ace Hobbies, Inc.   Thier co-location in Irvine, Ca. is pure coincidence.

MORT:     I NEVER personally attacked the person in question.   I ALWAYS ***POLITELY*** dissagreed with him and always in a CONSTRUCTIVE manner.   I FREQUENTLY gave that person credit and recognition for the (few) things he did correctly.   I ALWAYS addressed him with RESPECT.   This man's worst enemy can only be found in his bathroom mirror.  

RUNBOY:     Funny about how all my posts were deleted, Huh? Sorta makes it hard for anyone to objectively assess the truth of the situation.   This is "The Forum Master's" version of "pulling an Enron"!

DIGIDOC100:     How unfortunate that you are unable to read all of my posts.   I wonder why someone would want to make it impossible for anyone else to read them?   Yes, I have been POLITELY critical of "The Forum Master" of late, but not without reason.

The banning and censorship was simply getting out of hand and I was outspoken about that.   Why?   The decision to quit his day job was fine by me, after all it is his life, but to be DUMB enough to publish that fact was just like hanging a piece of meat in front of the advertisers.   He might of just as well tatoo'd "You Can Push Me Around Now 'Cause I'm Dependant Upon You!" on his frikkin' forehead!   As soon as he published the fact of his income dependancy on the forum, the advertisers started to lean on him, and when he felt threatened, he started threatening members.

EXHIBIT A:

In the recent topic where a good friend of mine, J.F., announced the Raptor50/Carbon blades deal, ANOTHER member pointed out that "The Forum Master" was being hypocritical by allowing Ace to post without being an advertiser and poor Cyber-Heli being given the Boot and all.
